The race is divided into four events: 3.6km, 5.6km, 10km, and half marathon.

Half marathon starts at 10:00 AM, the 10km at 10:50 AM, the 5.6km at 11:00 AM, and the 3.6km at 11:10 AM.

The half marathon, 10km, and 5.6km events also record team rankings, while the 3.6km tracks individual results only.

The half marathon course is described as fairly flat.

The start and finish are at Sportplatz Schützenallee in downtown Schwarzenbek.

Getting to the start

Bahnhof Schwarzenbek (S-Bahn line S21, Hamburg-Bergedorf–Schwarzenbek)

Start/finish is at the Sportplatz an der Schützenallee (Schützenallee 16, 21493 Schwarzenbek).

Schwarzenbek's S-Bahn station (line S21 from Hamburg) is within the town;

walking distance to the sports ground is roughly 1-1.5 km / 15-20 minutes.

3/5/10/21km distances, mostly run through the Sachsenwald forest between Hamburg and Lübeck.

Schwarzenbek has its own DB regional train station and sits within the HVV (Hamburger Verkehrsverbund) network area.

The nationwide Deutschland-Ticket (about 58-63 EUR/month, buyable via app or at station machines) covers regional trains and HVV buses here,

though not ICE/IC long-distance trains.

Single tickets can also be bought from HVV ticket machines at the station or via the hvv app.
