“The sunshine brought my energy back!”
The runner considered quitting early in the Saint-Jeoire Trail 86km but felt better after around 3 hours. Passing others late on and moving into 3rd on the last descent, the runner crossed the finish holding a companion's hand.

Given the rural mountain setting and a 4:00am start for the main 84km race, car access is the practical option. Trail festival with 13km/25km(mystery)/34km/84km distances.

Finish is in the same village center as the start.

Saint-Jeoire is a small alpine town in Haute-Savoie with no train station of its own; it is served by the regional intercity bus network Cars Region Haute-Savoie (formerly called LIHSA), notably lines 102 and 113. There is no rechargeable IC card system for this rural network - tickets are typically bought onboard or in advance online. Renting a car from Geneva or Annecy is the most practical option for race day given limited and infrequent bus service.

The Saint-Jeoire Trail Festival features four main races with UTMB Index status: the Verti'Trail (13km, 1,150m of climbing),
the Deux Massifs (34km, 3,100m of climbing), and the Saint-Jeoire Trail (84km, 6,000m of climbing), plus the roughly 25km Mystère course.
Separate 1–3km races are also held for children.
Bib pickup takes place twice — the afternoon before and the morning of the race — at the partner village near Saint-Jeoire town hall.
With many races involving big climbs, pace yourself for the elevation changes.
Times are local to Saint-Jeoire. Check the latest official information before the race.
