The 50K, 25K, and 10K start at staggered times, organised by the Lawrence Trail Hawks.
Through the “Hero Runner” fundraising programme, it supports a designated charity each year—a race where running directly becomes a donation.

race is organized by the Lawrence-area Trailhawks running club.
Sanders' Saunter Charity Race in Lawrence, KS is in a small university town without a fare-card transit system usable by short-term visitors;
the local T bus service takes cash or day passes but no reloadable IC card.
A rental car from Kansas City is the practical option for foreign runners.
Your start time, fuel and bag drop.
Know them ahead and the run feels easier.
The race is organized by the Lawrence Trail Hawks, starting and finishing at Overlook Park Shelter #1 in Clinton State Park.
Start times differ by event: 7:00 a.m. for the 50K, 8:00 a.m. for the 25K, and 9:00 a.m. for the 10K.
Through the "Hero Runner" fundraising program, participants can support a charity chosen each year.
