THE DREAM
This is an annual half marathon held in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, the capital of Tenerife in the Canary Islands.
It began in 2003 and is organized by the Tenerife City Council and the Tenerife Athletics Federation.
It is a road race certified by World Athletics.

Departure time is 9 am local time.
Pick up your bib, check your wave.
So on race morning, you can just run.
Bib will not be distributed on the day of the competition.
Tranvía Línea 1 (tram) - city center stops
Race is in Santa Cruz de Tenerife city center.
Tram (Tranvía) Línea 1 and TITSA urban bus lines serve the city;
during the event the tram operates a reduced service, with central stops closed until the race clears (~11:30am per prior edition pattern).
Transit disruption details are per prior edition pattern.
Tranvía Línea 1 - La Paz stop area (once service resumes)
Central tram stations reopen once route is cleared by local police, historically around 11:30 AM.
No dedicated marathon shuttle;
TITSA bus lines get diverted via Las Ramblas from the afternoon before the race.
Your start time, fuel and bag drop.
Know them ahead and the run feels easier.
The regulations explicitly state that there is no separate finish time limit for this race.
However, participants who become a safety risk or whose condition deteriorates sharply may be removed from the course at the organisers' discretion.
The 8km event is limited to 2,300 runners.
Age categories range from the 'absolute category', for runners born before 1995, to the masters category for ages 75–79.
Runners aged 16–17 may enter with a guardian's consent.
Bib must be collected at the Nivaria Center (Avenida Tres de Mayo 9) on November 13, two days before the race, or November 14, the day before.
Same-day Sunday collection is not available.
The course has water and aid stations starting at the 5km mark and then every 5km.
Wearing headphones is prohibited at half marathon.
