It takes place at 8:00 AM on Sunday, November 1, 2026, in Guanghan City, Deyang, Sichuan Province.

The race starts at the Guanghan Convention Center and finishes beside Jinyan Wetland Park on Yanjiang North Road,

with a single category, half marathon, and a field of 10,000.

Runners race through the homeland of the ancient Shu civilization, known for the Sanxingdui ruins.

Leaving the starting point at the Guanghan Convention Center, the course passes through the city's main roads,

turns onto Sanxingdui Avenue, and then passes through the internal road of the Sanxingdui Museum.

It then passes Yanjiang South Road, crosses the Hangtian Bridge, follows Yanjiang North Road, and finishes beside Jinyan Wetland Park.

A section that actually crosses through the museum grounds is a distinctive feature of the course.

Getting to the start

Start is 广汉会展中心 (Guanghan Convention Center) in Guanghan city.

No metro in Guanghan;

nearest rail links are 广汉北站 (Guanghan North, HSR, ~18min from Chengdu East) and the newer 三星堆站 (Sanxingdui station on the Chengdu-Qinghai/Chengdu-Deyang line, which the course actually passes near).

From 广汉北站, bus 13路 runs to 三星堆博物馆 (~15min) but does not reach the Convention Center start directly — taxi/private car recommended for the actual start line.

City: 广汉市 (Guanghan), part of Deyang.

Course runs from Convention Center through 三星堆博物馆 (Sanxingdui Museum) to Jinyan Wetland Park.

Getting to the finish

Finish is by 金雁湿地公园 (Jinyan Wetland Park) on 雁江北路, no direct rail link found;

taxi/private car or local bus needed.

READY TO RUN

November brings an average of 12°C.

At Gwanghan City, wind is a bigger factor than the cold.

A lightweight windbreaker will help retain body heat, and leave a dry change of clothes ready for after the finish.

The collection location and schedule for race materials (including bib) will be announced separately through the official channels before the race;

same-day collection at the venue is not available.

Half marathon comes down to how well you control yourself over the first 5 km.

If you get swept up in the crowd and raise your pace immediately after the start, it will come back to haunt you at 15 km mark.

The start is at 08:00.
