Korea uses the nationwide T-money rechargeable card for subways, buses, and even taxis in Naju and virtually every Korean city.
Cards are sold and topped up at convenience stores (CU, GS25, 7-Eleven) and subway station machines for a small card fee plus loaded value.
Contactless foreign bank cards generally do not work directly on Korean transit gates, so buy a physical T-money card on arrival;
base fares are around 1,400-1,500 KRW.

In May, daytime temperatures rise quite a bit.
Dress lightly, bring a hat and sunscreen, and stay hydrated.
The distance is short, so the pressure is not great, but if you watch out for the initial over pace, it's enough to complete the course.
Naju is famous for Naju gomtang and Naju pear.
The Naju-eupseong area along the Yeongsangang River is also worth a look.
Times are local to Naju. Check the latest official information before the race.
