From the 2026 editionWe have not confirmed the start line coordinates yet. The map shows the host city.
Lège-Cap-Ferret is a narrow, elongated peninsula (Presqu'île) at the entrance to the Bassin d'Arcachon in France's Gironde department.
According to the organizers, the Semi-Marathon de la Presqu'île is notable for limiting the field to 2,000 runners purely for safety and operational reasons.
The event is run by an organizing group based in the nearby small town of Arès.
This half marathon is known as part of a local running festival held under the name Courses de la Presqu'île,
which brings together races over several distances, and entries for events in addition to half marathon are also advertised.
However, there is not enough verified information about the detailed course sections or the exact points along the peninsula.
