THE DREAM
It's held every year in late September in Doussard, south of Lake Annecy.
The events are half marathon and 10km, and both are flat and fast.
The field is capped at 1,200 for half marathon and 1,000 for the 10km, keeping things from getting crowded.
The 10km runs almost in a straight line from Saint-Jorioz to Doussard.
Picture the course in advance
and find the pace that fits you.
Streets lined with cheers, runners all around.
You'll be part of that scene.
Take it slow with the finish still in you,
and meet the city all over again.

The Semi-Marathon des Sources du Lac d'Annecy starts and finishes at the Salle Polyvalente in Doussard every last Sunday of September.
Participation is capped at 1,200 for half marathon and 1,000 for the 10km, so a relatively relaxed race atmosphere can be expected.
Course follows a greenway through Bredannaz and Duingt, loops through the village of Saint-Jorioz, and returns to Doussard;
it's undulating but without major elevation change.
The 10km starts in Saint-Jorioz and follows an almost straight course into Doussard.
Late September mornings in the Haute-Savoie region tend to be cool, so a light outer layer may be needed.
