Pick up your bib, check your wave.
So on race morning, you can just run.
Pittsburgh Regional Transit Route 21 (Coraopolis) — nearest general service, not at trailhead
Start: Clearview Shelter, Moon Park (Montour Woods Conservation Area), near Coraopolis, PA.
PRT Route 21 connects Coraopolis (Fifth/Fourth Ave stops) with Moon and downtown Pittsburgh roughly hourly,
but does not run directly to the Moon Park trailhead itself —
riders would need an additional walk or rideshare of a mile or more from the nearest stop.
No date conflict — the given date (2026-09-05) is consistent with prior editions;
car strongly recommended for this trail venue.
Same general area as start (trail race through Montour Woods)
Finish is within the Montour Woods/Moon Park trail network, same limited transit access as the start.
Coraopolis, PA sits near Pittsburgh but this venue is car-access;
Pittsburgh Regional Transit's ConnectCard is the local IC card if you base yourself downtown,
loadable at kiosks or the ConnectCard office, but it is not needed to reach this specific race site.
Driving or ride-share is the practical option for race day.
Your start time, fuel and bag drop.
Know them ahead and the run feels easier.
Pittsburgh Regional Transit (PRT) Route 21 connects Coraopolis and Moon with downtown Pittsburgh approximately once an hour,
but it does not reach the Moon Park trailhead.
You would need to walk more than a mile from the nearest stop or arrange a rideshare, so driving is recommended.
If you stay in downtown Pittsburgh, you can purchase a PRT ConnectCard at a kiosk or ConnectCard office, but it is not needed to reach the event venue.
As of March 2, 2026, Entry fee costs $65 for the 50K, $55 for the 20 Mile, and $45 for the Half Marathon.
Registration has already closed.
Times are local to Coraopolis. Check the latest official information before the race.
