SihanoukvilleTHE DREAM
The Sihanoukville International half marathon is a World Athletics-affiliated race held every March in Sihanoukville,
a resort city on Cambodia's southern coast.
Starting and finishing at Ochheuteal Beach, it offers four events: half marathon, 10km, 5km and 3km.
Founded in 2012, it has become one of Cambodia's signature running festivals.
The 11th edition, held in 2026, attracted a record 15,000 participants.
The course course runs alongside the city's beaches and tourist infrastructure, allowing runners to combine the race with time at the resort.

RACE WEEK
Know the course and time limit, and race day comes into focus.
We have not confirmed the start line coordinates yet.
The start and finish are both at Ochheuteal Beach.
Course follows a route that alternates between city streets and coastal roads,
passing Sihanoukville’s signature beaches—including Victory Beach, Sokha Beach and Serendipity Beach—in succession.
The course is not completely flat: some sections include repeated gentle climbs and descents across rolling terrain.
Finish times are therefore often somewhat slower than on a flat course course.
Aid station are positioned every 2km, allowing runners to hydrate along the coastal sections.
Half marathon is the longest event at 21km, with 10km, 5km and 3km races also available,
making the event suitable for everyone from time-focused runners to families.
Pick up your bib, check your wave.

No formal transit station — Ochheuteal Beach, Sihanoukville
Start and finish both at Ochheuteal Beach. Sihanoukville has no metro/rail system; runners typically reach the beach by tuk-tuk (~15min from town center) or on foot if staying nearby.
Arrive at least 30 minutes before the gun.
No formal transit station — Ochheuteal Beach, Sihanoukville
Same location as the start (loop/out-and-back coastal course). Per the prior-year (2026) edition, route runs along the coastal road from Ochheuteal Beach through Otres to the Preah Thong-Neang Neak statue and back, covering nearly 20km of coastline.
tuk-tuk is the standard local transport.
Sihanoukville has no city bus/rail network. Local transport is tuk-tuks (no meters — agree on price beforehand, roughly US$4-7 for common routes) and motorbike taxis (roughly US$2-15).
Ride-hailing apps like Grab/PassApp offer GPS-tracked fixed pricing and are safer than street hailing. Cash (USD or riel) is standard.

March falls toward the end of Sihanoukville's dry season.
The area has a tropical monsoon climate,
with relatively little rain from December through March before the wet season begins in April and precipitation rises sharply.
Even in the dry season, daytime highs are around 30°C and humidity remains high, so the early start and adequate hydration are important factors in finishing.
Some sections of course include gentle hills, which may make the course feel harder than expected for runners who have trained mainly on flat roads.
Sihanoukville is a coastal tourist city accessible from Phnom Penh by road or air,
with an international airport making travel from overseas relatively straightforward.
Times are local to Sihanoukville. Check the latest official information before the race.
