The road to your own record
Picture the course in advance
and find the pace that fits you.

The city you want to run becomes your next trip.
MabletonTHE DREAM
It is held every year on the last Saturday of October in Mableton, Georgia.
It is a USATF-certified course that goes out and back along the entire Silver Comet Trail outside Atlanta,
and the full marathon is recognized as a qualifying time for the Boston Marathon.
It's a small race that's good for first-timers and runners chasing a PR alike.
Picture the course in advance
and find the pace that fits you.
Streets lined with cheers, runners all around.
You'll be part of that scene.
Take it slow with the finish still in you,
and meet the city all over again.
From the joy of finishing to the tough moments — read what runners wrote themselves.
“I decided my hamstring was sufficiently improved to run without a compression wrap.”David Holmen finished the 2013 Silver Comet Marathon in 3 hours 46 minutes 18 seconds on a flat, paved cycling trail. Believing his hamstring had recovered, he started without a compression wrap, but after pushing the pace early, stiffness in the muscle forced him to ease his pace.
“I’m more motivated when I have a goal.”Mark Williams finished the Silver Comet half marathon in 2 hours 16 minutes 19 seconds. Without his usual music, he talked himself through the difficult final 3 miles and afterward turned his thoughts to his next marathon and 10km goals.
We translated a short line from each public race report and summarized the experience. Finish times are as stated by the author, and past editions may differ from this year's weather and operations.
