The road to your own record

The city you want to run becomes your next trip.

THE DREAM
A half marathon starting at 6 a.m. from Dajia Riverside Park in Taipei.
This open riverside course links the Yingfeng, Guanshan and Yuanshan river paths, with the 21K, 10K and 4K starting in sequence.
One of Taipei’s signature autumn half marathon, it is popular enough to close registration early.
Picture the course in advance
and find the pace that fits you.
Streets lined with cheers, runners all around.
You'll be part of that scene.
Take it slow with the finish still in you,
and meet the city all over again.
From the joy of finishing to the tough moments — read what runners wrote themselves.
“To protect my shinbone, I’m making sure not to push the pace and aiming for a steady finish.”
After recovering from a tibial injury, this runner entered the Taipei International half marathon and kept the pace between 6 minutes 45 seconds and 6 minutes 55 seconds per 1km. Drinking at every water stop and monitoring physical condition, the runner accelerated after 20km and finished with light steps.

So on race morning, you can just run.

This is based on addresses in Taiwan, so overseas participants should confirm the delivery method with the organizer.
Get an EasyCard — NT$100 at any MRT station or convenience store, works on the MRT, buses, and even as everyday store payment.
Official site confirms date Sunday, 20 September 2026 and venue: 大佳河濱公園(蛋形廣場) — Dajia Riverside Park (Egg-shaped Plaza), Zhongshan District, Taipei.
The official page provides a Google Maps link but no explicit nearest-MRT-station or shuttle-bus text.
Recommend checking the site's dedicated 交通資訊 subpage closer to race day for confirmed MRT/shuttle detail, since it was not reachable in this pass.
Same Dajia Riverside Park venue as start per official page (typical for this course format).
organizer phone (0800-271-637) given for further inquiries.
EasyCard (悠遊卡)
MRT station ticket machines and service counters, or convenience stores (7-Eleven, FamilyMart, Hi-Life, OK Mart) — ask at the cashier;
many locations are open 24/7.
Works directly at the gates
Alternative: Taipei Pass 1-day NT$180, 2-day NT$310, 3-day NT$440, 5-day NT$700 (unlimited MRT + city bus rides) —
Worth it only if you're taking roughly 6 or more MRT/bus rides in a single day, since a typical single MRT fare runs about NT$20-30.
The NT$100 EasyCard fee is a non-refundable card cost with no stored value included — you top it up separately in NT$100/500/1,000 increments.
As of July 1, 2026, Taipei Metro's official site confirms tap-in/tap-out with physical contactless bank cards (Visa, Mastercard, JCB, UnionPay, Diners Club, Discover) or linked mobile wallets now works directly at fare gates —
this is a very recent rollout, so EasyCard is a good backup for buses or locations where it may not yet be fully supported.
If returning an EasyCard for refund, the remaining balance is refunded minus a NT$20 handling fee (within 3 months);
the initial NT$100 is not refunded.
Taipei's transit runs on the EasyCard, covering MRT, buses, and YouBike;
buy one for NT$100 at any MRT station or convenience store (7-Eleven, FamilyMart) and reload at the same counters or station machines.
There's a small fare discount for MRT-to-bus transfers within an hour when using the same card.
Bank card tap-to-pay is not yet supported on Taipei transit, so get an EasyCard on arrival.
Your start time, fuel and bag drop.
Know them ahead and the run feels easier.
Start by arranging transportation to get to Dazahabin Park early in the day.
The official shuttle connects Exit 2 of Xingtian Palace Station with the pick-up and drop-off point on the Binjiang Street side.
Please check shuttle times and transportation from your accommodation to the pick-up point.
Make sure you have an early way to get from your accommodation to the station pick-up point.
Organizers ask you to arrive early to avoid missing the start due to waiting for shuttles and finding parking.
Regular buses are not intended for travel before departure, but for returning home after the game.
If you bring a car, you must follow the park parking instructions and do not arbitrarily park in front of houses or stores or in turning areas.
Make sure the pick-up point for the return shuttle is separate from the drop-off point for the departure flight.
It is best to check the official participation information for changes to shuttle operation and storage regulations the next time you participate.
Separate bags for storing items are not provided.
You must prepare a bag that completely closes with a zipper, etc. Open bags or plastic bags are not accepted.
Please bundle your luggage into one bag.
There is a notice that the tour will be held even in rainy weather, so it is a good idea to pack a change of clothes in a waterproof bag.
Some intersections allow vehicles to pass flexibly, so even if course appears continuous, follow the traffic control agent's instructions first.
Times are local to Taipei. Check the latest official information before the race.
