The time limit runs for 12 hours.

The course is designed so that runners pass through the main aid station, which doubles as the start/finish point, at the end of each loop,

and three aid stations are placed throughout the course, offering soup, fruit, and, during the evening, cooked warm food, all vegetarian-friendly.

The Bull Mountain Epic is held in the North Georgia mountains, well outside Atlanta's MARTA/Breeze Card service area.

This is a car-access rural venue with no relevant transit options.

so endurance and climbing ability matter more than being a fully technical trail.
