The Next Loop is held on the "Shredder's Gulch" trail network beside Lake Carl Blackwell near Stillwater,
Oklahoma, run by repeating a 5K (3.1-mile) loop course.
To finish the 50-mile category, participants must complete 16 laps of this loop, and given the terrain, the measured distance may have some margin of error.
The course surface is a mix of dirt, grass, and packed ground over gently rolling terrain, so it's not technically very demanding.
Lakeside hills, open meadows, and wooded sections alternate throughout,
making it approachable for trail beginners while still offering a course interesting enough for endurance-minded runners repeating many laps.
Pick up your bib, check your wave.
So on race morning, you can just run.
Packet pickup information has not yet been announced.
For small trail races, race-morning on-site pickup is common; check the registration page announcement for details.
