“I finished the race with 51 miles.”

At Patriots’ Run, the runner alternated running and walking to cover 51 miles in 9 hours and 11 minutes. After reaching the target distance in the heat and winning the age group, the runner felt dizzy beyond the finish and cooled down with help from other runners.

No confirmed direct transit stop on Sprint Parkway; nearest RideKC/RideJoCo corridor several blocks away

Start/finish: 6240 Sprint Parkway (former Sprint/current T-Mobile corporate campus), Overland Park, KS 66209 (listed under both Leawood and Overland Park in various sources). RideKC's Johnson County Transit (RideJoCo) serves Overland Park generally, e.g.

Route 402 along College Blvd/Quivira Rd/95th St/Johnson Dr, but no route was confirmed running directly onto the Sprint Parkway campus. No date conflict — Findarace confirms Sat Sep 12, 2026, matching source date.

All events except the 5K start at 7:00 a.m. local time (CDT), while the 5K starts at 3:00 p.m. Start and finish are at 6240 Sprint Parkway in Leawood, Kansas.
