ABOUT THE RACE

A day you'll remember,
long past the finish line.

The race starts at 7:30 a.m. on Sunday, September 27, from the Tuanbo Jiankangcheng Marathon Square in Jinghai District, Tianjin.

There is one event, half marathon, with a field of 10,000 runners.

It is a China Athletics Association A-grade race.

Tuanbo Lake is a bird reserve inhabited by more than 60 species of migratory birds, including swans, mandarin ducks and egrets.

Start line is located at Marathon Square in Tuanbo Health City, Jinghai District, Tianjin, with a 7:30am local start.

The field is limited to 10,000 runners, and the race is classified as a Category A event by the Chinese Athletics Association.

Course passes Tuanbo Lake, a bird sanctuary with extensive reeds and abundant fish.

More than 60 species of migratory birds, including swans, mandarin ducks and egrets, live there.

The organisers describe course as a course combining the urban scenery of Tuanbo Health City with the natural landscape of Tuanbo Lake.

Tuanbo Health City station on the Jinjing intercity rail line (津静线)

Start/finish at Tuanbo Health City Sports Avenue Marathon Plaza, Jinghai District.

The Jinjing intercity rail line reaches the race zone directly;

metro + bus or direct bus lines (156, 710) can also be used from Tianjin's main rail stations.
