The road to your own record
Picture the course in advance
and find the pace that fits you.

The city you want to run becomes your next trip.

THE DREAM
Full marathon runs out and back along country roads with gentle, rolling hills.
Even the race slogan warns that this is no easy challenge.
Picture the course in advance
and find the pace that fits you.
Streets lined with cheers, runners all around.
You'll be part of that scene.
Take it slow with the finish still in you,
and meet the city all over again.
From the joy of finishing to the tough moments — read what runners wrote themselves.
“I distracted myself in later miles by working through the negative self-talk that tends to dog me when runs get tough.”In Tupelo's 14.1-mile race, the runner started at 5 a.m. and watched darkness lift. Hills and heat made the second half tough, but managing negative thoughts brought a 1 hour 51 minute 35 second finish and a PR over the half marathon distance.
“I did not eat early nor often enough before it was too late.”At the Tupelo Marathon, the runner started at 5 a.m. and ran comfortably through mile 17. Insufficient fuel, followed by more energy drink and painkillers, worsened their condition late on, prompting plans to change fueling for the next race.
We translated a short line from each public race report and summarized the experience. Finish times are as stated by the author, and past editions may differ from this year's weather and operations.
