Pedro MoyaRan in 2023 · Finish time 37 minutos 27 segundos
“At Cursa Bombers 10K, I felt great through 6 km, but with 3 km to go, I nearly fell apart.”

Pedro Moya chased the 37-minute pacer, but his heart rate rose sharply around 7 km, so he eased off and finished the 2023 Cursa de Bombers 10K in 37:27.

Helena AbianRan in 2013 · Finish time 1:05:42
“I'm glad I didn't give up before the race.”

With two friends cheering her on, Elena Avián completed her first 10km race without stopping at the 2013 Barcelona Cursa de Bombers, finishing in 1 hour 5 minutes 42 seconds. She overcame poor training form and prerace nerves, ran the final challenging downhill, and felt deeply satisfied.

Where and when to collect your Vueling Cursa de Bombers race bib

To the start line,
step by step.

Pick up your bib, check your wave.
So on race morning, you can just run.

From the 2025 edition

Pick up your bib at the expo

It is only stated as ‘to be announced soon’ on the official website, but has not yet been released.
Must bring ID (DNI/Passport) + registration confirmation email; cannot be picked up on the day of the competition.

Stations & transport near the venue

Just tap your contactless Visa/Mastercard/Amex at the metro or bus validator — no card purchase needed for a short trip.

Getting to the start

Arc de Triomf (Metro L1) or Arc de Triomf (Renfe Rodalies)

Start and finish both on Avinguda Marques de l'Argentera, in front of Estacio de Franca.

Bag-drop at Passeig Lluis Companys, next to start, opens 7:30 AM.

Confirmed for 2026-11-08.

Getting to the finish

Barceloneta or Ciutadella-Vila Olimpica (Metro L4) also serve the area

Finish on the same avenue near Parc de la Ciutadella;

L4 stations are direct alternates if Arc de Triomf is crowded post-race.

More details

No shuttle bus -- TMB is the official transit partner.

In recent editions, 8,000 free single metro tickets were distributed to runners at bib pickup;

worth checking if this repeats for 2026.

Organizers strongly recommend arriving by metro given road closures.

IC card

T-Casual (loaded onto a T-mobilitat card)

TMB metro station vending machines, the T-mobilitat mobile app, tobacconist shops (estancos), and TMB customer service offices —

you first get a €1 cardboard T-mobilitat card, then load the T-Casual (10-ride) fare onto it.

Works directly at the gates

Alternative: Hola BCN Travel Card from about €16.62 for 2 days (48h), scaling up to 5-day (120h) versions —

Worth it if you're riding often across several days and want the airport metro transfer bundled in,

since a couple of guides note the L9 Sud airport surcharge isn't reliably covered by a plain contactless tap.

More details

TMB rolled out open-loop contactless payment (bank card, phone, watch) across the whole metro, bus and tram network by 2026 —

each tap buys one single ticket at the standard fare, with no discount for volume.

The traditional T-Casual (formerly T-10) now has to be loaded onto a separate physical T-mobilitat card rather than being a standalone paper ticket,

which adds a step for tourists.

One third-party guide states the L9 Sud airport line runs a separate, higher fare zone not covered by contactless tap-in —

this specific restriction was not confirmed on TMB's own page, so treat it as unverified.

READY TO RUN

From race morning to after the finish.

Your start time, fuel and bag drop.
Know them ahead and the run feels easier.

Bibs, commemorative T-shirts and timing chips can't be collected on race day under any circumstances.

Go to the pickup center and time slot you chose when registering, with your passport (or Spanish ID) and registration confirmation email;

anyone collecting for you needs a copy of your ID and proof of registration.

In 2025, pickup ran on the Thursday, Friday and Saturday before the race at seven Decathlon stores in Catalonia, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.

The start and finish are on Avinguda del Marquès de l'Argentera in front of Estació de França,

and the 2025 race started at 9 a.m. Start corrals are split into 12 by target time,

from elite to 1 hour 30 minutes and over, so get into your assigned corral early.

Free bag storage is set up on Passeig de Lluís Companys.

There's one drinks station, at the 5km mark, and you get drinks and food in the finish area.

The 2025 time limit was 1 hour 30 minutes.

The course records are 28:32 for men and 31:47 for women.

Barcelona in November averages a high of 17.5°C and a low of around 9°C, pleasant for running.

From the airport, take the 24-hour Aerobús to Plaça de Catalunya;

the start is a 5- to 10-minute walk from Barceloneta station on Metro Line 4.

Barcelona's public transit operator TMB is the race's official transportation partner.

Times are local to Barcelona. Check the latest official information before the race.
