THE DREAM
Held in Wenatchee Valley during peak apple blossom season.
All four events start and end at the arts center in old downtown and feature fast course.
Picture the course in advance
and find the pace that fits you.
Streets lined with cheers, runners all around.
You'll be part of that scene.
Take it slow with the finish still in you,
and meet the city all over again.
From the joy of finishing to the tough moments — read what runners wrote themselves.
“The rest of my run was rather quiet.”This runner chose the Wenatchee Marathon 10km instead of the half marathon and ran beside the Columbia River. A steep pedestrian bridge near the finish was difficult, but holding the speed to the end secured the goal.
“I love all the support that we had waiting for us to finish.”Terri J. Wiley chose an early start for a first Wenatchee Marathon and drew support from family and friends. Mostly walking late on, the runner crossed the final bridge to finish in 6 hours 27 minutes 11 seconds.
We translated a short line from each public race report and summarized the experience. Finish times are as stated by the author, and past editions may differ from this year's weather and operations.
