Approximately 2.2-mile loop, with aid station on every lap
Will Rogers State Historic Park, where this race is held, was once the real ranch home of Will Rogers,
the actor, cowboy, and broadcaster who was hugely popular in early 20th-century America.
On the 186-acre property, he rode horses, threw ropes, and played polo;
the polo field he built in 1926 is known as the place where he played against major figures of the era such as Spencer Tracy, Gary Cooper, and Walt Disney.
After Rogers' death, his wife Betty donated the land to the State of California in 1944, creating today's state park,
and the polo field in the park is also said to be the only remaining polo field in Los Angeles.
The park suffered major damage in the Palisades Fire in January 2025 and remained closed for a long period before reopening in November 2025.
This race is a timed ultra held in the park after that reopening,
with runners covering a fixed approximately 2.2-mile (3.5 km) loop course as many times as possible time limit (24 hours, 12 hours, 6 hours).
For the local running community, it is also symbolic because the park is welcoming runners back after being closed for so long due to the wildfire.
Pick up your bib, check your wave.
So on race morning, you can just run.

Official ultrasignup/KH Races page confirms start/finish at the park; race is a repeated 2.2-mile loop with an aid station and runners' vehicles accessible at each loop pass. m.
race start time. official ultrasignup page (did=136727) explicitly confirms "Saturday, Feb 27, 2027 @ 6:30 AM," concluding Sunday Feb 28.
Same as start — Will Rogers State Historic Park (24-hour/12-hour/6-hour timed loop event).
No separate finish venue.
Will Rogers State Historic Park in Pacific Palisades is in the Los Angeles area, where Metro's TAP card and direct contactless bank-card/mobile-wallet tap-to-pay work across buses and rail ($1.75 standard fare, with daily/weekly fare capping). The park itself is not near a rail line, so visitors will still need a rental car or rideshare to reach the venue, especially for an early-start ultra event.

Registration is handled through UltraSignup.
In addition to individual entries, runners can join relay teams and divide the course into legs.
The 24-hour event allows 5-person relay teams, while the 12-hour event allows 4-person relay teams,
giving runners who may find a solo finish daunting the chance to take on the challenge with friends.
Course is a gently rolling loop of approximately 2.2 miles (3.5 km),
with a well-stocked aid station operating continuously at a point runners pass on every lap, so the need to carry personal supplies is relatively low.
As this is a timed event, prepare warm layers and a headlamp for the early-morning and nighttime sections, when temperatures can vary significantly.
Times are local to Pacific Palisades. Check the latest official information before the race.
