Transit card

Changchun's rail transit (metro and light rail) accepts payment via Alipay or WeChat mini-program QR transit codes as well as a rechargeable local transit card available at station counters and nearby convenience stores. International contactless bank cards are not widely supported at Changchun's fare gates, so a QR code app or the physical card is the practical option for visitors.

Base fares are low, typically a few CNY per ride.
