The Datong station of the WSE 10KM Open series, staged at Wenying Lake Ecological Park.

Alongside the 10KM and 5K elite divisions there are 5K and 3K family divisions run by pairs of 1 adult and 1 child,

so record-chasing and family outings coexist.

The Entry fee starts from 138 yuan (varies by division), and entries are taken on the official WSE platform.

City buses 62, 64, 65, and 29 stop directly at Wenying Lake Ecological Park Station, making the bus the easiest option.

The open course around the lake offers little shade, so a hat and sunscreen are recommended in the strong summer sun.
