The 10KM Elite, 5K Elite, 5K Parent-Child (1 adult + 1 child), and 3K Parent-Child (1 adult + 1 child) events are held together.

The start takes place at Xingguang Island in the West Coast New Area of Qingdao, Shandong Province, at 7:00 AM local time, with the finish at the same location.

Registration is first-come, first-served and closes once full.

Transit card

Qingdao Metro fares start around CNY 2 and scale with distance. The Qingdao Tong card, purchased at station service counters, gives about a 10% metro discount (20% on buses), while Alipay and WeChat both offer a Qingdao Metro QR transit code that is the easiest option for visitors.

Vending machines in station lobbies also sell single-trip tokens and multi-day passes with cash or mobile pay.
