“The clock at the 40km mark confused me a little, but I still finished within 30 seconds of the target time.”

On a third consecutive appearance at the Yangling Marathon, the runner served as the official 6-hour pacer. Cheers in the university section provided a lift, and despite confusion caused by the clock at the 40km mark, the group finished within 30 seconds of the target time.

We have not confirmed the start line coordinates yet. The map shows the host city.

Yangling is a center for agricultural research and practical applications, and the race puts the identity of this agricultural science city front and center.

The Yangling Administrative Committee presents the marathon as a flagship sports-tourism event for the region.

The 2025 edition started at Yangling Agricultural Exhibition Plaza, and the race has been held for more than 10 years.

However, the 2027 start location and course have not yet been confirmed.

Around 20,000 runners took part in the April 12, 2026 edition.

World Athletics records the men’s and women’s full marathon,

with winning times of 2 hours 17 minutes 30 seconds for the men and 2 hours 35 minutes 52 seconds for the women.

Rather than simply an urban race, it brings together a regional event promoting an agricultural research city and internationally recorded race results.

so do not treat it as a confirmed basis for choosing accommodation until the new start announcement is issued.

Once registration opens, check the full marathon entry requirements, whether a lottery will be held and the Packet Pickup venue together.

Several agricultural science and tourism facilities may be linked to the event, but tourism activities and the race course are separate.

Do not treat the 2026 date as the 2027 schedule;

arrange transport and arrival dates after the official calendar is announced.
