Transit card
Buy an EasyCard (available at a convenience store near the airport arrivals exit) and tap it when boarding AND when alighting — it's the easiest way to avoid needing exact change, though paying cash (NT$12, exact change) works too.

Where to buyConvenience stores on Kinmen (e.g., a store right by the airport arrivals area exit); card costs NT$100 (non-refundable)

Transit cardKinmen buses run on a fixed schedule and are generally on time. Fare is a flat NT$12 per ride.EasyCard must be tapped twice (boarding and alighting) — unlike some other Taiwan systems where you only tap once. No evidence found of contactless bank card acceptance on Kinmen buses; that capability has only been confirmed for Taipei and Taoyuan Airport MRT gates.
