IC cardSUBE is the required system-wide payment method — the older city-specific 'MOVI' card was phased out of transit use. Municipal buses also accept contactless debit/credit/prepaid cards (Visa/Mastercard), NFC phones/smartwatches, and QR payment via the BNA+ or SUBE apps, all at the same fare (roughly AR$1,720 as of Feb 2026, subject to change).
