Nearest station to the startNo public transit reaches the start (below the Phoenix sign on Usery Mountain, N Ellsworth Rd, Mesa, AZ) — it is a remote desert trailhead with no parking allowed
ShuttleYes — mandatory organizer bus service to the start: buses depart Sloan Park (SE corner of Sheffield Ave & Rio Salado Pkwy, next to the finish) from 4:00 a.m., last bus 5:00 a.m., ~30-35 min ride to Usery Mountain start (no parking at start). A free shuttle also returns runners from the finish area back to their cars after the race.
