Start · Google MapsA race that opens the Fêtes de Soustons festival in early August every year, first held in 2006.
The 10km starts Thursday evening at 7:35 p.m., preceded by a kids' 3km and a 5km for ages 14 and up.
The course is flat with no elevation change,
cutting through the town centre and following Lake Soustons before meeting the finish inside the Henri Canelas bullring.
Wheelchair and joëlette (all-terrain wheelchair) entries are welcome.

So on race morning, you can just run.
No train station in Soustons. Nearest rail access is Dax SNCF station or Saint-Vincent-de-Tyrosse SNCF station, then bus.
Start is at Hall des Sports du Lac, Soustons. From Dax, take Trans-Landes regional bus line 517 to the "Isle Verte" stop in Soustons; from Saint-Vincent-de-Tyrosse station, take the free local Yégo line 2 bus into Soustons.
Soustons has no functioning train station; public transit access is via free local (Yégo) and regional (Trans-Landes) buses connecting to Dax or Saint-Vincent-de-Tyrosse rail stations. No organizer shuttle identified.
Same general area — no dedicated station; use the Isle Verte bus hub in Soustons
Finish is at the Arènes Henri Canelas in central Soustons ("tapis rouge" arena finish), a short walk from the Isle Verte bus stop.
No dedicated IC transit card; Soustons is a small Landes coastal town served only by limited regional buses rather than a big-city smartcard system. Car access is standard for race day, with SNCF TER trains to/from larger hubs like Dax or Bayonne paid by regular ticket or bank card.

Know them ahead and the run feels easier.
Soustons has no railway station.
The standard route is to take a train to Dax or Saint-Vincent-de-Tyrosse, then change to a bus.
Registration is handled online through the partner platform PB Organisation.
The town becomes very busy as the festival begins on race evening, so plan your driving route and parking well in advance.
