This point-to-point half marathon starts in Huitzuco de los Figueroa and finishes beside Lake Tequesquitengo,

where runners can cool off in the water immediately after the race.

Getting to the start

no metro/rail in Cuernavaca — Palacio de Cortés-Museo Cuauhnáhuac, next to Plaza de Armas, downtown Cuernavaca, Morelos

Walkable from central hotels, or by local taxi/combi.

The former official site (21kmorelos.com) is no longer online.

Race allows a 3-hour cutoff, after which official vehicles collect remaining runners.

No official shuttle;

Cuernavaca has no metro/light rail — taxi or 'combi' minibus.

From Mexico City: intercity bus (e.g. Pullman de Morelos) from Terminal Sur (Taxqueña) to Cuernavaca, ~1.5 hrs, then local taxi.
