No subway system in Mar del Plata - multiple city bus routes serve the Playa Grande direction, or taxi/remis
Mar del Plata has no subway; city buses are the main transit and use the contactless SUBE card, rechargeable at kiosks or the SUBE terminal/bus station; some kiosks sell SUBE cards to tourists and the SUBE app also supports top-ups.
