West Gate of Baotou Olympic Sports Center, Baotou, Inner Mongolia

The competition will start from the west gate of the Olympic Sports Center in Baotou City,

Inner Mongolia on September 6, and will be held in two events: full marathon and half marathon.

The 2026 formula course has not yet been released,

but the previous year's competition was a route that passed through the Baogang Group Industrial Park and Kundu Lun River,

passed through the Saihantara Grassland section (20-29km mark), the largest urban grassland in Asia,

and then returned to the west gate of the Olympic Sports Center finish along Jianshu Road and Olympic Street via Yui Street.

Baotou has no metro;

its bus network is covered by the physical Lucheng Tong card or the Baotou ride QR code,

a WeChat/Alipay mini-program that acts as a virtual transit card (capped around 10 rides/day).

Cash and mobile QR pay are standard;

taxis or ride-hailing are the simplest option for race travelers.
