The city you want to run becomes your next trip.
THE DREAM
The entire section is within Hickory Run State Park.
The figure-eight 50K cycle is course, and the 100K participant completes this course twice.
90% of course is singletrack hiking trails and wide multi-use trails, with only about a mile of gravel road.
Picture the course in advance
and find the pace that fits you.
Streets lined with cheers, runners all around.
You'll be part of that scene.
Take it slow with the finish still in you,
and meet the city all over again.
From the joy of finishing to the tough moments — read what runners wrote themselves.
“The boulder field was absolutely breathtaking and difficult to navigate.”In Boulder Field 100’s 18-mile event, they walked slowly across the boulder field and cooled their feet and legs at three water crossings. Fatigue and mosquitoes dogged them on the later ridge trail, but they accelerated on the final paved road and crossed finish smiling.
We translated a short line from each public race report and summarized the experience. Finish times are as stated by the author, and past editions may differ from this year's weather and operations.

Course is a figure-8 loop entirely within Hickory Run State Park;
access via I-80 exit 274, south on PA-534 for ~2 miles,
then signed turns to Boulder Field parking lots (per uncoveringpa.com and PA DCNR park page, not official race site).
No public transit — car access only, rural Pocono-region state park.

100K runners complete the 50K figure-8 loop twice, finishing at the same Start/Finish area.
No dedicated transit card system;
the Jim Thorpe/Lehigh Gorge area of the Poconos has no local public transit, so car access applies for this race.
