Getting to the start

No fixed-route public transit in Cadillac. WexExpress (Cadillac/Wexford Transit Authority), 951 Casa Road, Cadillac, MI, offers door-to-door dial-a-ride service Mon–Fri 5am–6pm and Sat 9am–12pm only.

Venue: Rotary Pavilion, 100 S Lake St, Cadillac, MI 49601 (Saturday morning race, held on the shore of Lake Cadillac). Race start almost certainly precedes WexExpress's 9am Saturday opening, so no public transit is realistically usable at race time — car access required.

'Car access only' is the correct answer for this small-town lakeside venue.

Cadillac has no regular bus service,

and WexExpress door-to-door dial-a-ride operates only from 5 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays and from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturdays.

The race starts at 7 a.m. on Saturday, before Saturday service begins, so driving is effectively essential.

Free parking lots and roadside parking spaces are available around the race venue, Rotary Pavilion (100 S Lake St).

The 5K, 10K, 7 Mile Relay, and 1/4 Mile Swim Entry fee increase from $25 to $35 on August 16;

Full Marathon is $75, and Half Marathon is $50.
