The road to your own record
Picture the course in advance
and find the pace that fits you.

The city you want to run becomes your next trip.
THE DREAM
Held in Castellón de la Plana, this is one of Spain's leading marathons.
It is jointly organized by Club Atletismo Running Castellón and the Castellón municipal sports authority.
Founded in 2010, it will hold its 17th edition in 2027.
It received a World Athletics road-race label in 2021 and is described as the first Spanish regional marathon to receive the certification.
The course is known for a flat, fast course through the Mediterranean port district.
It is a separate event from the city's half marathon marathon, the Mitja Marató de Castelló,
with different organizers and a completely different official website.
Picture the course in advance
and find the pace that fits you.
Streets lined with cheers, runners all around.
You'll be part of that scene.
Take it slow with the finish still in you,
and meet the city all over again.
From the joy of finishing to the tough moments — read what runners wrote themselves.
“I was running like an automaton, with the goal after each step being the next one.”
The downtown support was fun, but the long straight stretch and isolation in the Grao section were tough. After 23K, Roberto Taboada's pace dropped, so he focused on moving forward one step at a time rather than chasing a time, and cut 10 minutes off his personal best.
