Getting to the start

No practical train/bus station serves Delaware City directly. DART First State discontinued bus service to Delaware City; nearest usable transit hub is Newark Transit Hub (DART Route 53 runs from there to the DMV in Delaware City) or the Wilmington/Newark Amtrak-SEPTA rail stations, both several miles away.

Start/finish is a field at the beginning of the Michael Castle Trail, event base 406 4th Street, Delaware City, DE — effectively car-access-only for out-of-town visitors. Rural small-town venue with no meaningful public transit; car is the practical way to reach the race.
