A point-to-point course that runs along the shore of Lake Superior from Duluth, Minnesota, and a relatively flat and fast course with a net drop of -130 feet from a start of 740 feet to a finish of 610 feet. The 51st competition in 2027 will be held on Saturday, June 19, and registration is scheduled to open at 7 PM (CT) on October 1, 2026. In 2026, full marathon will be so popular that it will sell out in 12 hours.
