에딘버러 마라톤 페스티벌 2027은 5월 29일(토)~30일(일) 주말에 열리며, 풀 마라톤은 5월 30일(일) 오전 10시 출발이다. 러너스월드가 영국에서 가장 빠른 마라톤으로 선정한 평탄한 코스로, 2008년 이후 매년 매진된 런던 다음의 영국 2위 규모 마라톤이다. 제한시간은 후미 그룹 출발선 통과 기준 6시간 30분이며 스위퍼 버스가 뒤따른다.
