Stations & transport near the venue

Getting to the start

Half/Marathon (Georgetown, near Potomac Boat Club): Foggy Bottom-GWU Metro station (~15-20 min walk) or Rosslyn station via Key Bridge, plus the DC Circulator Georgetown–Union Station bus route. 5K (Fletcher's Boat House): no nearby Metro station — it's further up the C&O Canal towpath from Georgetown.

Half Marathon/Marathon start/finish is near the Potomac Boat Club (3530 Water St NW, Georgetown);

5K start/finish is at Fletcher's Boat House (4940 Canal Rd NW).

Course runs along the C&O Canal towpath.

Parking garages/spaces along Water Street for the Half/Marathon;

direct lot parking at Fletcher's Boathouse for the 5K.

Getting to the finish

Same as start for each distance (out-and-back course along the canal)

Finish mirrors the corresponding start location per distance.

Stations & transport near the venue

Washington, DC's Metrorail/Metrobus use the SmarTrip card, but since the 'Tap.

Ride.

Go.' rollout riders can skip the card entirely and tap a contactless Visa/Mastercard/Amex bank card or mobile wallet (Apple/Google/Samsung Pay) directly at Metrorail faregates and Metrobus readers.

SmarTrip cards remain necessary only for fare discounts or SmartBenefits.

Pre-registration only; race-day registration is not available.

Participants are advised to arrive 90 minutes before their distance's start time for check-in and to collect their race kit,

which includes bib and a commemorative T-shirt.

T-shirts are guaranteed for those registered by November 23;

for later registrations, they are available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.

Half marathon and full marathon start and finish near the Potomac Boat Club in Georgetown,

while the 5K starts and finishes at Fletcher's Boat House, so the routes differ.
