THE DREAM
Start line is Vietnam Veterans Park in Concord.
All four events – 5K, 10K, half marathon, and marathon – start at the same time, 9:30 a.m.
It is a small local race put on by US Road Running.
The organizers say each race has only one or two staff members but still offers a clear course, a finisher finisher medal, and official times.

The course is an out-and-back course that retraces the same route.
Pick up your bib, check your wave.
So on race morning, you can just run.
This series event distributes bib on site from 30 minutes to 10 minutes before the start, with no separate advance pickup.
On-site registration is not available.
Vietnam Veterans Park (760 Orphanage Rd, Concord, NC) and Orphanage Rd are themselves listed stops on Rider Transit (Concord-Kannapolis Area Transit) bus routes, which run from the Transit Center at 45 Transit Court NW, Concord.
Start is at Vietnam Veterans Park, at the Dogwood Shelter; course is an out-and-back loop (partly paved, partly gravel/dirt) run multiple times. Unusually well-connected among this batch: Rider Transit (ckrider.com) lists Vietnam Veterans Park and Orphanage Rd directly as bus stops, making this venue reachable without a car — check ckrider.com for current route/schedule before travel.
Same as start — Vietnam Veterans Park, also a Rider Transit stop.
Finish is at the same park/shelter as the start.
Concord, NC is a Charlotte suburb; Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) runs limited bus service to Concord using the CATS-Pass mobile ticketing app rather than a dedicated fare card, and paper transfer passes work across CATS/Rider Transit. That said, this race venue is a car-access site, so most out-of-town runners will drive or rideshare rather than rely on transit.

There is no on-site emergency medical service (EMS), and each event usually has one or two staff members.
Runners who need help should ask the on-site staff.
