Getting to the start

No transit station; venue is Easter Lake Park, Des Moines, IA 50320

Official runsignup page: all distances (5K/10K/half/marathon) start 8:00 AM CST at Easter Lake Park. Site notes EMS is not stationed on site and water stations are limited to the finish area at the end of each lap and at the race finish.

Same venue as the Haunted race series at Easter Lake Park. No fixed-route bus serves the park; per DART transit info, DART's demand-responsive 'On Call' service covers the Easter Lake area rather than a scheduled fixed route.

The race starts at 8:00 a.m. at Des Moines' Easter Lake Park,

and bib is available for brief on-site pickup from 30 minutes before the start until 10 minutes before the start.

For all events (5K, 10K, half marathon, and full marathon), the time limit is 6 hours.

Aid station is provided only at the start and finish of the lap section and near finish, with no on-site medical staff;

participants must prepare appropriately for the weather.

Entry fee starts at $30, while children aged 5–15 pay $5 and running club members receive a 50% discount.

Finishers receive a Thanksgiving-themed finisher medal, and awards are presented to the best-costumed participants,

giving the event the charming atmosphere typical of a small community race.
