The road to your own record
Picture the course in advance
and find the pace that fits you.

The city you want to run becomes your next trip.

THE DREAM
Held since 2008, it is Germany's fastest urban 10km race.
Runners chasing personal bests come from all over the country.
Picture the course in advance
and find the pace that fits you.
Streets lined with cheers, runners all around.
You'll be part of that scene.
Take it slow with the finish still in you,
and meet the city all over again.
From the joy of finishing to the tough moments — read what runners wrote themselves.
“I was happy to stand in the warm heart of the running community today.”
The runner ran in strong winds and cold weather and enjoyed the zoo section. They kept pushing until just before the finish and were satisfied with a time in the 52-minute range and third place in their age group.

Heute war ich froh, mich in die kuschelige Mitte des Läuferfeldes einzureihen.
Read the original on Potsdamer Laufclub“After dry-heaving for a few seconds at the finish line, I was relieved to have PBed and gone under 41 minutes, although it didn't feel like a PB performance during the race.”Gabitor missed a 40-minute goal at the Great 10k Berlin after the pace dropped midway, but rallied from 8km to set a personal best of 40 minutes 50 seconds. Though disappointed afterward about not pushing harder in the middle, encouragement from the coach helped turn it into experience for the next challenge.
We translated a short line from each public race report and summarized the experience. Finish times are as stated by the author, and past editions may differ from this year's weather and operations.

The Great 10K Berlin is a road race that links landmarks west of the German capital, centered around Charlottenburg Palace.
The official name is the Berliner Morgenpost Great 10K, and it is an urban running event run by Berliner Roift.
Focusing on the 10km race, we also organize two-person relays, short-distance races, and children's and toddler runs.
A running festival for families is held in the square in front of the palace.
Week course starts from Charlottenburg Palace and returns to the same place.
The places that the organizers introduce as main scenery are the Victory Monument, Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church, Bikini Berlin, and Berlin Zoo.
The road connecting the palace with city monuments and commercial spaces also includes a section that passes through the zoo.
The experience of running on a zoo road within a road race is featured as a feature of the competition.
The short distance event starts from the zoo's Elepantentor and heads towards the palace.
Unlike the palace loop in the main race, it runs from the zoo to the palace.
In a relay, two runners each run 5km to complete a 10km race.
Solo runners and teams navigate the capital's streets in their own way within the same main race.
The organizers emphasize the nature of the race as a fast city race and invite record-challenging athletes and recreational runners.
The event hall in front of the palace is operated as a festival venue for participants and their companions,
with a music stage, children's play and exercise area, food trucks, and a rest area.
Races through Berlin's landmarks and family-friendly city events take place around the same palace.
Pick up your bib, check your wave.
So on race morning, you can just run.

Bib can be received at the Decathlon store in Rathaus Pasagen.
You can prepare the number bib from the reception confirmation email or Davengo account,
and also use a screen capture of the participant list where the number is visible.
The pick-up location is on the Alexanderplatz side and is far from Charlottenburg Palace,
where the stadium is located, so prepare to travel to both locations separately.
Organizers recommend using public transportation as there is limited parking space.
Here's how to get to the palace on foot from U7 Richard Wagner Platz Station, U2 Sophie-Charlotteplatz Station, and West Ent Station on the loop line.
Due to road restrictions in Gyeonggi Province, buses do not pass through Spandauerdam and Schlossstraße,
so it is best not to base your arrival route solely on the bus stop.
For luggage storage, only the official storage bag received with bib is accepted.
Put your change of clothes in this bag, mark it with a number, leave it in, and pick it up at the same place after the game by showing bib.
The departure block is also written at bib, so check it before entering the site.
After the final, you can exit through the marked passage, use the supply, and then move to the storage area.
Times are local to Berlin. Check the latest official information before the race.
