The start line is set up at South Esplanade (bottom of Val Des Terres), St Peter Port, with the start scheduled for 9:00 a.m. local time.

Getting to the start

St Peter Port bus Town Terminus (South Esplanade)

Guernsey has no railway;

the island's bus network hub (Town Terminus) is located directly on South Esplanade, next to Albert Marina —

essentially at the same location as the marathon start/finish (South Esplanade Car Park).

All 28 public bus routes run to/from this terminus.

Race date is 18 April 2027;

Getting to the finish

Finish is at the same South Esplanade Car Park location as the start, immediately adjacent to the island's central bus terminus.

More details

No dedicated organizer shuttle bus found;

runners generally rely on the island's regular Buses.gg network which terminates at South Esplanade.

READY TO RUN

From race morning to after the finish.

The Guernsey Marathon offers three formats: full marathon (26.2 miles);

Relay, a two- or five-person relay;

and a 1-mile Fun Run open to runners of all ages.

Registration links through the official website to the Race Nation platform, and the average finish time is reported to be around 4 hours 10 minutes.

More than 700 finishers from 17 countries gather each year, supported by over 150 volunteers,

creating an intimate international race with the distinctive character of the Channel Islands.

Part of the event proceeds is reportedly donated to local charities.

As Guernsey is an island connected to mainland Britain by separate air and ferry routes,

participants should arrange flights or ferry bookings well in advance, separately from marathon registration.
