The start takes place at Wanoga Sno Park, Cascade Lakes Highway, Bend, OR, at 7:00 AM local time.

So on race morning, you can just run.
None — Wanoga Sno-Park is deep in Deschutes National Forest with no public transit access
Start/finish is at Wanoga Sno-Park (elevation 5,500 ft), west of Bend, OR.
Bend's Cascades East Transit does not serve this forest trailhead.
Start and finish areas are at opposite ends of the same parking lot, about half a mile apart and walkable.
Genuinely remote forest trailhead venue with no public transit;
car is the only way in.

Finish is roughly half a mile from the start within the same Wanoga Sno-Park lot;
gear drop service available.

Bend is served by Cascades East Transit, which in 2026 introduced the CET Go reloadable card/app system;
a single ride costs $2 with a $6 daily cap.
Pass cards can be obtained at Hawthorne Station (334 NE Hawthorne Ave) in Bend,
though the Haulin' Aspen trail race venue itself is outside town and best reached by car.
Your start time, fuel and bag drop.
Know them ahead and the run feels easier.
Wanoga Snow Park, the start venue, lies deep in Deschutes National Forest and is not served by public transport.
Drive from Bend along the Cascade Lakes Highway;
since the parking area fills from early morning, set out with plenty of time to spare.
As a high-elevation forest trail, the race requires preparation for cool mornings and dry heat later in the day.
