THE DREAM
A trail event held in the Green Mountain National Forest in Vermont.
It's a rugged course well suited to running an ultramarathon.
Picture the course in advance
and find the pace that fits you.
Streets lined with cheers, runners all around.
You'll be part of that scene.
Take it slow with the finish still in you,
and meet the city all over again.
From the joy of finishing to the tough moments — read what runners wrote themselves.
“This was the muddiest race to date for me.”At the Infinitus Marathon, the runner faced mud, insects, and several climbs but finished while enjoying the scenery and the company of fellow runners.
“I ran where I could and walked when I had to.”At Infinitus 88K, the runner cooled off in streams during sweltering heat and received supplies from a partner who had stopped. They walked rough nighttime descents, shared the final stretch with another runner, and finished at dawn.
We translated a short line from each public race report and summarized the experience. Finish times are as stated by the author, and past editions may differ from this year's weather and operations.
Preview the course and read what runners who went before you wrote.

Infinitus is a multi-distance trail ultra event hosted by The Endurance Society at Silver Towers near a national forest in Vermont,
notable for offering an extremely wide range of distances all at once —
from 9 miles to marathon, 88K, and 100 miles, as well as the Pentamarathon (a marathon distance every day for 5 days), 250 miles,
the 10-day-straight Decamarathon, and 888K (about 551 miles).
Time limit (time limit) is set at 12 hours for the 9-mile and marathon categories, 24 hours for the 88K, and 48 hours for the 100-mile;
registration is done through UltraSignup, and popular categories like the 100-mile reportedly often fill up well before the event.
Participants who register late (typically after May 10) reportedly do not receive their commemorative t-shirt and cap at check-in and instead receive them after finishing.
Times are local to Ripton. Check the latest official information before the race.
