Total elevation gain exceeds 5,175 feet.
After running the Red, White, and Blue Trails counterclockwise, runners retrace the same route in reverse during the latter part of the course.
There are out-and-back sections to each trailhead, which serve as aid stations.

Start line is located in Nashville, TN, and the start time is 7:00 AM local time.

Nashville has a WeGo Public Transit bus network, but no confirmed route/stop serves Warner Parks' Gaucho Road Trailhead directly.
Start/finish is the Gaucho Road Trailhead in Warner Parks, about 20 minutes south of downtown Nashville.
Note: this race was originally scheduled for March 28, 2026 but was postponed (ice storm damage);
Suburban park venue reachable by car in ~20 min from downtown Nashville;
public transit access is not well documented.
Same as start — course is a there-and-back/loop through the Red, White, and Blue Trails.
No dedicated shuttle service operates within Warner Parks per Nashville Parks info;
runners drive/park at the trailhead.
IRON GRIDDLE starts at the Gaucho Road Trailhead in Percy Warner Park,
about 20 minutes from downtown Nashville, and the park itself is car-access only with free parking.
Nashville's WeGo bus system (fares payable via the WeGo mobile app or a reloadable WeGo Card) serves downtown,
but it does not reach this park, so a rental car or rideshare is needed for race day.

The 50K starts at 7:00 a.m., the Trail half marathon at 9:00 a.m., and the 6 Mile at 9:30 a.m. from the Gaucho Road Trailhead in Percy Warner Park.
The 50K follows the Red, White, and Blue loops counterclockwise before reversing direction at course mid-course and retracing the route,
with approximately 5,175 feet (about 1,577 m) of elevation gain.
Registration closes at 11:59 p.m. Central Time on November 13, the night before the race.
