This full and half marathon marathon runs through Karamay River Scenic Area in Karamay, Xinjiang.

The flat riverside course links landmarks of the oil city, including the Science Museum, Century Park, and Friendship Bridge.

With few turns, it is considered one of northwestern China’s leading flat course, offering a good chance to chase a personal best.

The course is flat and runs through the open Karamay River scenic area, passing city landmarks such as the science museum,

the 'Song of Karamay' sculpture, Century Park, Youyi Bridge, University Town, and the convention center.

With few elevation changes, it's considered a flat course well suited to runners chasing a personal best over long distances.

The route passes Century Avenue, Welcome Avenue, riverside roads, Century Park, Kunlun Road, Birch Road, Victory Road and Happiness Road.
