Picture the course in advance
and find the pace that fits you.
Streets lined with cheers, runners all around.
You'll be part of that scene.
Take it slow with the finish still in you,
and meet the city all over again.
From the joy of finishing to the tough moments — read what runners wrote themselves.
“Now I understand why people looked at me like I was crazy when I said I'd entered a 100km race.”
Florence ran beyond 60km for the first time at La Diagonale des Yvelines 100km, battling mud and strong winds. Despite severe fatigue late in the race, she finished in 14 hours 47 minutes 21 seconds.

Je comprends maintenant pourquoi tout le monde me regardait comme une dingue quand je parlais de mon inscription sur un 100km.
Read the original on ASM Maule“Fortunately, I could still run easily on the flat, dry paths.”
The runner fell at the 13km mark of La Diagonale des Yvelines 100km and injured a knee, but continued through mud. Late fatigue and thigh pain made progress difficult, yet the runner persevered to finish.

RACE WEEK
Know the course and time limit, and race day comes into focus.
We have not confirmed the start line coordinates yet. The map shows the host city.
La Diagonale des Yvelines is a trail race that crosses the Yvelines department, southwest of Paris, from north to south.
Trail runner Alain Pelosse created it around 2018, building on the idea of crossing the department diagonally on foot.
Because it began with the aim of linking the west and east of Yvelines by footpath,
course passes through the Vallée de Chevreuse area, where broad farmland, valleys, forests and sandy ground alternate.
With châteaux, estates, old stables, wash houses and fountains along the way,
it is regarded not as a simple mountain trail but as a course that showcases the landscape and history of Yvelines.
The race has five categories of different lengths.
The longest, a 105km course with 1,700m of elevation gain, starts in Breuil-Bois-Robert.
The shorter 80km (from Château de Béhoust), 50km (from the Étangs de Hollande),
roughly 20km and 12km discovery course each start from a different point, but every category shares a single finish in Rochefort-en-Yvelines.
The race also awards UTMB Index points, so it is known as a course for earning an index among runners preparing for international trail series.
This may change for the next edition.
Pick up your bib, check your wave.
So on race morning, you can just run.
Breuil-Bois-Robert (one of five start points)
Official homepage banner states: 'LA DIAGONALE DES YVELINES 3 AVRIL 2027 – La traversée en trail du département des Yvelines du nord au sud le 3 avril 2027. 5 épreuves avec un départ de Breuil Bois Robert, du château de Béhoust, des Etangs de Hollande, de Rochefort-en-Yvelines et une arrivée unique à Rochefort-en-Yvelines. the current site does show this exact 2027 date).
No shuttle/navette, parking, or gare information was found on the homepage content fetched. The site was previously inaccessible via automated fetch (403) but was successfully retrieved this time.
No public-transit specifics were found in the fetched content; this is a rural cross-department trail so transit is likely limited. For distances over 55 km, you can travel from Rochefort-en-Yvelines to the departure point by paid shuttle bus (+12 euros).
Rochefort-en-Yvelines (single finish for all 5 events)
Official site confirms a unique finish at Rochefort-en-Yvelines for all 5 races, but provided no transit details for reaching it.
Breuil-Bois-Robert is a small rural commune in the Yvelines department west of Paris, without its own dedicated transit card system. Visitors coming from Paris can use a Navigo pass or Navigo Easy card on the RER/Transilien network as far as the nearest station, then continue by car, taxi, or local shuttle since onward bus service is limited.
This is largely a car-access venue for race day.
Your start time, fuel and bag drop.
Know them ahead and the run feels easier.
Registration is handled through the official website.
Based on the previous year, registration for all races opened simultaneously at noon in early September, with the total bib limited to 1,500 places.
Because each race starts in a different location, shuttle buses operate from Rochefort-en-Yvelines to the respective start points.
Participants can take a shuttle the day before or early on race morning to reach the start of their chosen race.
At the finish, hot food, local beer, and a finisher's souvenir are reportedly provided.
Times are local to Breuil-Bois-Robert. Check the latest official information before the race.
