This is the marathon/half-marathon start; the 10K finishes at Kongresni trg, consistent with the shared race-day hub used by all distances. The center area (roughly 500m spanning start, finish, and services) is pedestrian-only during the event (Oct 17-18, 2026).
City bus (LPP) routes run on altered/shortened schedules on race weekend. Train and intercity bus stations are about 1km from the center; parking fills quickly near the center.

Special minibuses from event sponsor Volkswagen run from the parking area on the southern bypass (Center exit) to Križanke. General Park & Ride facilities on the city outskirts are also recommended.

LPP ticket office, Tourist Information Centre(s), most newspaper kiosks/newsstands, post offices, and green "Urbanomat" self-service machines next to many bus stops. Works directly at the gates
Alternative: Ljubljana Card €41 (24h) / €49 (48h) / €54 (72h), adult prices — Only worth it if you're also planning to visit several paid attractions (Ljubljana Castle + funicular, museums, Zoo, a guided city tour) — as a pure transit pass it is far more expensive than Urbana or tapping a bank card. The Urbana top-up card is anonymous, costs €2.00, and can hold up to €50.00 of credit; a single bus ride costs €1.50 and includes free transfers for 90 minutes.
Contactless bank card tap payment was added directly on LPP buses, but it only covers a single fare per tap — it does NOT include the 90-minute free-transfer benefit that Urbana gives you. The Ljubljana Card bundles unlimited city bus travel with sightseeing admissions; treat it as a sightseeing pass with transit included, not a transit pass with sightseeing included.
