MacaoTHE DREAM
The 10 km course crosses the Sai Van Bridge to Taipa before turning back around the Cotai Link Road.
Finish is held at the Olympic Sports Centre Stadium.
This format has been in place since the 2025 edition.
The event is jointly organized by the Sports Bureau of the Macao Special Administrative Region Government and the Macau Athletics Association.
It features two events: the 10 km and the approximately 5 km Fun Run (Fun Run).

RACE WEEK
Know the course and time limit, and race day comes into focus.
From the 2026 editionWe have not confirmed the start line coordinates yet. The map shows the host city.
The Sands China Macao International 10K starts at Sai Van Lake Square and finishes at the Olympic Sports Centre Stadium,
crossing the Sai Van Bridge before running along the Cotai Strip, the reclaimed district known for its cluster of large-scale resorts and casinos.
A separate fun run shares the same opening stretch across the bridge before finishing at the same stadium.
The race draws an international field — organizers have reported entrants from close to 40 countries and regions in past editions —
reflecting Macau's position as one of the most visited and densely populated places in the world,
with roughly 720,000 residents packed into under 33 square kilometers.
Registration for the 10K opens in late January, with the fun run following a day later;
bib and chip collection is handled in the days immediately before race day at the Olympic Sports Centre's indoor stadium.
The event is organized jointly by Macau's Sports Bureau, the Macau Athletics Association, and title sponsor Sands China.
Not yet confirmed in the official race guide
This may change for the next edition.
Pick up your bib, check your wave.
So on race morning, you can just run.
Using a Macau Pass cuts the bus fare in half to 3 patacas compared with paying cash, so the best option is to buy a card at a convenience store as soon as you arrive.
Sai Van Lake Square (Macau Peninsula) — assemble at 06:00;
start at 07:00 (10 km) / 07:40 (Happy Run)
Macau Stadium (Taipa) — the awards ceremony will be held at the nearby Olympic Sports Centre Indoor Sports Hall
Sai Van Bridge (Taipa → Macau direction) will be closed from 06:00 to around 09:30 on race day.

Two Macau Pass mCard types — a Macau-only version and a China T-Union compatible version (also compatible with Hong Kong and mainland China since 2025-03).
A digital card in the MPay app can also be used, but a physical card is more convenient for travelers.
Your start time, fuel and bag drop.
Know them ahead and the run feels easier.
Supply stations line the 10-kilometer course, offering drinking water and energy-replenishing food —
standard provisioning for a race that, unlike Macau's longer marathon and half-marathon events, keeps most runners on course for well under an hour.
The race runs in mid-March,
a transitional stretch of Macau's spring when mornings stay mild and the air carries more moisture than the drier winter months before it.
Daytime temperatures in March typically sit in the high teens to low twenties Celsius,
with occasional fog as humidity builds ahead of the wetter months to come —
generally comfortable racing conditions, without the summer heat and typhoon risk that arrive from May onward.
The course crosses the Sai Van Bridge early on,
a stretch fully exposed to open water on both sides with no building cover until the route reaches the Cotai Strip —
a detail worth factoring in if wind picks up.
From there, the run continues past Cotai's cluster of resort towers before finishing inside the Olympic Sports Centre Stadium on Taipa.
Bib and timing-chip collection happens in the days immediately before the race, at the Olympic Sports Centre's indoor stadium —
the same general area as the finish line, which simplifies logistics for anyone picking up a kit ahead of race day.
Times are local to Macao. Check the latest official information before the race.
