The race starts at 7:30 a.m. on Sunday, August 9, at the Malkang City Stadium in Aba Prefecture, Sichuan Province.

There is one event, the half marathon, with a capacity of 2,600.

Situated on a plateau, the city stays cool even in summer at around 21°C and retains its Jiarong culture.

Local bus 马尔康1路 (Markam Route 1) — nearest confirmed stop is at the town's Bus Center/transit hub, no confirmed stop directly at the stadium

Barkam (Malkang), in the remote Aba Tibetan-Qiang Autonomous Prefecture of Sichuan, has no dedicated transit card system or meaningful urban transit network. This is a car-access mountain venue, so a private car, hired driver, or tour vehicle is the standard way to get around, with cash accepted for any local fares.

Marcang is a highland city about 4 hours by car from Chengdu, and intercity buses run from Chengdu Chadianzi Terminal.

Within the city, Bus No. 1 passes through the bus center, and you can reach the stadium on foot or by taxi.

At an elevation of 2,600m, a more generous pace than on the flat is needed, and even in summer the morning temperature is low, so warm clothing is essential.

Registration is handled on the zuicool platform.
